1. Drivers
   Drivers must conform to the following criteria:
   • Aged between 23 and 70.
   • Have held a full driving licence for at least one year.
   • Have their licences unendorsed (except for minor speeding or parking offences).
   • Be able to produce their licence on the day of departure.
   • Drivers who do not conform to the above criteria are invited to produce their own fully.
   • Comprehensive insurance or furnish details for discussion with our insurance company. Insurance must be agreed before a booking will be accepted.
2. Insurance
   Fully comprehensive vehicle insurance is provided. You are fully responsible for the first £1000 in respect of each and every accident. Insurance cover is not provided for travel to Ireland, Northern Ireland, or Europe.
3. Damage Deposit of £500
   A deposit must be lodged with us before any vehicle is taken away. This will be returned in full within 7 days of the return date if the vehicle is returned on time, fully refuelled and with all equipment present.
4. Cancellation by Hirer
   Once a firm booking has been made a cancellation can only be accepted in writing. Should you have to make a cancellation the following charges will apply: Cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to departure or a no-show ­ 100% of hire. Cancellation 4 ­ 6 weeks prior to departure ­ 50% of hire. Cancellation more than 6 weeks prior to hire ­ booking deposit. We shall however endeavour to rehire the vehicle to reduce the amount of the penalty.
5. Cancellation by ourselves
   We reserve the right to cancel hire if, at the departure date the nominated drivers' licenses are invalid or not in accordance with the conditions. In these circumstances all monies paid by yourself, except the insurance deposit, will be forfeited to us.
6. Hire Period
   The Motorhomes are normally ready at 3 pm on the first day of hire and returned no later than 11am on the last day of the hire period. No refunds can be paid on the early return of your vehicle. If you return late the charge will be that of the normal daily hire rate. However, the insurance cover will be withdrawn after the agreed return time unless we are informed of the delay. From April till September the minimum hire period is one week and at every other time the minimum hire period is 3 days.
7. Availability
   We will make every effort to give you the Motorhome that you have hired at the agreed time. Occasionally the Motorhomes are returned damaged, if this damage is too great for us to repair in time we may have to substitute another Motorhome. If this is not acceptable to you or no other vehicle is available we are only liable to refund any monies you have already paid.
8. Breakdown and Accidents
   In the event of a breakdown or accident the vehicles are covered by roadside repair services anywhere in the UK. You can instruct that minor repairs and replacement parts be fitted once you have notified us by telephone. Repayments will be given on production of receipts and a statement of events, please get names and addresses of witnesses and car numbers. Please also make a sketch of the events. You should not use or drive the vehicle if any damage or faults arise that render the vehicle unroadworthy or liable to cause damage or danger to any person or property. Any malfunction, breakdown or damage caused from negligence by yourself shall be made good at expense to yourself. Damage can often occur whilst reversing so please seek help as this is counted as negligence.
9. Fuel, Oil, Gas and Tyres
   The vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and have to be returned full. The engine oil, water levels and tyre pressures have to be checked by yourself at least once a week during the hire. Damage to the tyres, no matter the cause, will be charged to yourself on return. You should also buy replace-ment gas cylinders as and when required.
10. Cleaning
    You have to make sure that on return to us on the last day of hire the vehicle is clean inside and the chemical toilet has been emptied. We will charge you if you have not done so. There are facilities at our depot for this purpose.
11. Liability
    If the vehicle or equipment fail due to our negligence which deprives you of complete use of the vehicle we are limited to the refund of any rental charges for days lost. You are liable for any fines or costs through violation of traffic laws or regulations. The vehicles shall not be used for unlawful purposes at any time.
